Today’s service was a celebration of Memorial Day.  Earlier in the service, anyone who served in the military was invited to come up and there was quite a crowd up there.  Each man told his name, branch and years and locations of service.  It was an impressive list of years and places where these men have served.

Pastor Jeff started his message with the video of Mark Shultz’s “Letters from War” and ended it with a video montage called “Military Homecomings”  If anyone left church today without shedding a tear they weren’t paying attention! Between minute 22 and 23 is when the second video was shown and the audio of that is not included.

Sacred Heart Gospel Choir Concert June 3

Come join the people of Redford Aldersgate for an afternoon of wonderful music!! On Sunday June 3 at 3 pm, the Sacred Heart Gospel Choir will raise the roof of our sanctuary with wonderful music, followed by a reception. We will take a free will offering that will go towards our Life Remodeled Project this summer, but the concert is free of charge.
