All pre-k through 5th graders are invited to our Summer Reading Program – Wednesdays from 9:30 – 11:30 am from June 19 – August 7. Come join your friends from church and school – we will be doing reading/spelling/writing, games, crafts and a snack on a theme each week. Come when you can – all kids welcome!
Trip to the Holy Land being organized for February 2014
Join Pastor Jeff and Pastors Emeritus Bob and Diana Goudie on a once in a lifetime trip to the Holy Land! Bob and Diana have lead many trips and are excited to partner with Pastor Jeff to offer this opportunity once again. Come to an informational meeting on WEDNESDAY JUNE 12 at 7 pm to hear more about this incredible trip!
Work Day at WOD June 22
On June 22, we are having a work day at West Outer Drive and can use all kinds of help! There are outside and inside jobs and all are welcome. We’ll work from 9 am – 12 noon and share some lunch.
Young Adult BBQ June 11
All young adults are invited to a BBQ on June 11 at 6 pm at Rosedale Gardens Park. We are joining with the young adult group from Newburgh UMC. Bring a dish to pass, a place setting and a chair or blanket. Talk to Katy Stokes for more info.
Summer Book Club
Each summer, Pastor Jeff likes to pick a few books for people to read and discuss. The first is called “Tattoos On The Heart” by Gregory Boyle. You can get a copy int he office for $12 and join in the conversation on Wednesday, June 26 at 7 pm. Enjoy!
